*Hot Off The Press!* Simon Cowell signs 10 year old Heather! Umm Willow, You Got Competition Girl!

Standard

So apart from beginning auditions for the US X-Factor, we now know that in his spare time Mr Cowell also likes to go on You Tube!

What I mean is that another micro superstar has been found on one of the most popular websites in the world. Move over Biebs, because here comes Heather Smalls (and she’s from Canada too- interesting).

Heather is only 10 and when you listen to her voice below, let me know what you think. Now Willow Smith is signed to Roc Nation, so naturally Simon jumped on the band wagon and signed up little Miss Smalls to his record label also!
Her voice is uniquely brilliant with so much strength already, I just hope that Cowell will be able to find a market for her to display her talent. She doesn’t have to be as eccentric as Willow either as her voice does the job for her- apologies Pinkett-Smith clang.

Heather Smalls, her Mother, Mr Cowell & Music Producer Rob Fusari, who has worked with Lady Gaga in the past.

Where would Heather fit? Comments please! xx

Matt Cardle is the X-Factor 2010 Winner!! (Homage to the Painter/Decorater)

Standard

Sooo!

It’s over! And I alongside the millions of us Nationwide and Worldwide watched the adorable Matt Cardle win this year’s very controversy X-Factor!

FYI- Every Week Matt Had The Most Votes- just confirmed!

The bookies’ favourite from Colchester, Essex, beat Liverpudlian Rebecca Ferguson to take the 2010 crown, and with Danni Minogue to mentor her 1st Winner on the show, everyone had something to celebrate!

Matt’s 1st single that was available to download from Last Night was “When We Collide” If you didn’t catch the amazing live performance last night, fear not I got ya!

From the moment the Cardle came in and blew us all away with his first audition, I think it’s safe to say he ticked the singing, likeability and personality boxes ALL in one day which I feel made him the front-runner from beginning!

Commiseration to the beautiful voice and soul which is Rebbeca Ferguson oi oi! (We share the same surname lol) A lovely personality and we wish her all the best in the future with her family and career.

Now, I want everyone to be really honest with me for this bit and leave your answer in the comment box. Ok ready, “What two did you think would have made it to the finals?” My answer- Matt Cardle & Rebbeca Ferguson- I wrote my down in an envelope too!

Now It wouldn’t be fair on me- who is a massive supporter of Matt to show you what I thought kept him as the front-runner from the beginning so I hope you enjoy my homage and go to I Tunes now! Download the new single and all the performances from the X-Factor!

Enjoy xxx

Matt’s 1st Audition

Matt goes to boot camp…

Week 1- Kelly Rowland “When Love Takes Over”

Week 2- Bruno Mars “Just The Way You Are”

Week 5- “The First Time”- This performance for me stamped Matt as no:1

Week 9- “You Got The Love”- Double the madness! The Semi-Final week and Matt was struck down with tonsilitis in this week. Two songs to sing, missing rehearsals and not able to strain his voice – the pressure was definitely on!

Song 2: “She’s Always A Woman”

However for me, the performance that won it for Matt was the beautiful ballad “Unfaithful” that he duet with Rihanna. She stepped out in a stunning gown, slashed at the hip and showing her whole leg! That kept Matt and the rest of the male population quiet!

Matt seemed nervous, but sang that song like him and Miss Fenty had done this performance before. “He’s adorable and I’m lucky to be singing with him. I really love your work and I wish you all the best,” she said.

Congratulations Matt!!! 2010 X-Factor Winner!!! xxx

ITV Secure X-Factor & Britian’s Got Talent for their viewers while Cheryl gets to four ciggarettes a day!

Standard

I hope the title caught your attention! And if it has I think I should start with why you clicked in the first place!

Sources claim that Cheryl Cole is trying to quit smoking.

The X Factor judge revealed that she has been trying to cut down with a view to stopping altogether.

The 27 year-old told Piers Morgan in a yet-to-be-screened interview: “I’ve managed to get myself down to four cigarettes a day. It’s my one vice, but I want to stop smoking completely.”

Yes! The majority of the world did not think she was a smoker, but hopefully her night with Piers Morgan will be on sooner than confirmed for (which was after the X-Factor semi finals). Very teary I heard…

FYI- Cheryl wil be appearing on Piers Morgan October 23 at 10pm on ITV1.

So back to ITV and their amazing new deal! Read on for details…

ITV has agreed a new three-year deal to keep hit shows The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent on its channels.

The arrangement extends ITV’s nine-year relationship with music mogul Simon Cowell until 2013.

Britain’s Got Talent will return to ITV1 next spring and The X Factor in autumn 2011. ITV2 will continue to broadcast The Xtra Factor and Britain’s Got More Talent.

As part of the renewed collaboration with Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia, the broadcaster said it had also secured exclusive UK broadcast rights to the American version of The X Factor and America’s Got Talent for ITV2.

Cowell said: “I am thrilled this deal has been concluded with ITV to enable our relationship to continue to develop. I am committed to making sure both shows get bigger and better every year.

“I have a lot to thank ITV for; they have been key in making The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent the UK’s biggest television shows.”

Peter Fincham, ITV Director of Television, added: “The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent are the shows that have helped define the last decade of television in the UK and have become more than just a talking point: they are a national obsession, and I’m delighted that our viewers can continue to enjoy them on ITV over the next three years.”

It is exciting to know, but do they think this is realistic? Will the judges move to the US, or go back and forth to make this work? In order for all 4 shows to work both in the UK and US is going to be a lot of hard work.

Do you think they could possibly pull this off? Comments please! xx

(X-Factor News!) The Final 12 for the Live Shows! Do you Agree?

Standard

So everyone zoned into what was the most nail-biting part of the X-Factor quarter, the judges houses, and for me I got 2 out of 3 contestants in every category!

What you must remember is that the judges all have different meanings and priority in finding that “star in the making” so as much as we all screamed and shouted at our screens last night, I actually am not surprised by their choices, except the girls-maybe!

Simon and the groups.

FYD– very expected for me. They deliver in all three areas of becoming a star- Singing, Dancing and Appearance Ability- as in the words of Mr Cowell and in my opinion, a very good choice!

Belle Amie– I was very impressed with their FIRST and only audition and you could hear that they practised as it did pay off- well done girls!

New Direction– Ok so the voices and the harmonies are there in the bunch of puberty busting good lookers. However I think maybe 1 or 2 could disappear and we wouldn’t notice. On the whole I would have gone with Twem for the entertainment aspect but Simon is Cowell and can’t help be smug with his “know it all” aura

Cheryl and the Girls

Rebecca Ferguson– A 2010 Etta James in the making! Sprinkle of Leona’s innocent magic has created a loveable character that I hope flourishes into the potential she has that could carry her all the way…

Cher Lloyd– I know everyone did not expect this, and for me I thought it would have been a toss-up between Gamu, Cher and Kate. However you cannot deny the “little sister” bond between these two, and for Cheryl I feel that Cher could become a personal project to reboost both of them… watch this space!

Katie Wassiel– The contemporary new Madonna, Gwen Stefani also known as Katie has arrived! Apart from the drama that you should expect to see on a regular basis, she offers a unique sound and appearance that I hope everyone will begin to warm too… that’s if you want to though!

Dannii and the Boys

Matt Cardle– OMG! So happy for this amazing and most beautiful voice! Matt totally deserves this and my cards are on him and Rebecca making it to the Top 2, yep I said it!

Aaiden– His first audition highlighted that he had the whole package, and songs after only showed Danni and the others that he was here to stay. Well played!

Nicolo– A very good-looking Diva that is aware that when he gets to the live shows he could become a love him or hate him artist his voice is cool, however will that be enough? Thank you to Danni and her abstract choices lol!

Louis and the Groups

Mary– Who doesn’t love her? I hope she has a pinch of the infamous Susan Boyle’s success as it would only fulfill her dream. i think of her first audition and all I get is goosebumps. We Love you Mary! xx

Storm Lee-You know what, I was a little bit hard on the guy, but you have to admit that he can belt and hold a few notes! Good on Louis for relighting his fire

John– What can I say, he has it all and if he is able to go with reviving the old skool classics, John could be the one to put together a whole new target audience who also love similar music

So that’s it. It now will be up to us, and for me I am not the one to always vote but this being the last of the UK X-Factor I think we all will have to hold on to our seats, as the ride will keep us stunned right to the end! xx

Liam Payne & Cher Lloyd- Hot favourites @ The X-Factor Auditions! (Video clips)

Standard

I know everyone was tuned into the X-Factor over the weekend and we were not disappointed with the talent in Birmingham…

We had Natalie Imbruglia as guest judge in for Danni

1st up was 16-year-old Cher Lloyd- cute, youthful and one bag of attitude that was right up Cheryl’s street. She got her swag on and bought my goosebumps to attention!

Check it out…

Next up was returning contestant Liam Payne. The 16-year-old cutie pie got to the 2008 auditions, when – at the age of 14 – he made it as far as Simon’s house in Barbados. Now he is back- and for Simon to give a standing ovation, we all knew what time it was…

Check it out!

But the talk of the show was the Ablisa girls- with over a million views, these two teenage best friends seem to upset the judges and the audience.

Want to know why?

Just watch and enjoy xx

The X-Factor- The Judges locations for the next stage is revealed!

Standard

Even though we have a couple of weeks before we get to Judges Houses, many speculations about where and whom Cheryl and her fellow judges will have in the next stage has been a very hot topic. Today we let you in on the locations where the judges are to set up this year!

Mr Simon Cowell

The boss, the mogul that is Simon Cowell will be downsizing to Spain this year and, even though his guest judge will no doubt be an amazing A-lister here are a few ideas of where he could set up home!

Maybe a traditional Spanish home?

Or a Simon Cowell Spanish home!

Walsh “Irish Man” Louis

We all know Louis for being loyal to his home town, so there is no surprise that he will be back to the picturesque views of Shannon in Ireland for the next stage. However, with Sharon as his guest judge he may have to upgrade to a residency suited for the potty mouth diva!!

This might leave Sharon gobsmacked or maybe…

this might be up Sharon’s street!

As Dannii Minogue and partner Kris are settling into parenthood, it’s only right that the contestants will be whisked off to sunny Melbourne in Australia, where they might hope big sister Kylie will be waiting for them also!

We know Dannii is more about comfort than splash so either of the two would be ideal for Minogue & family

So yes, you’ve guessed right Ms Tweedy will be taking over LA this year at judges houses! This also ties in with her new album that she is working on in the US too, so it makes sense that she would be located there, however with all the glitz and glamour, rumours of Derek as her guest judge where she would be living is at the bottom of our list!!

1st up

or…

Either way, we will all have to wait and see what cribs the judges will be wowing us and the contestants with but for now we have the auditions! xx

Sharon Osbourne joins Louis as Guest for X-Factor Judges Houses!

Standard

Yes you read the title correctly!!

The Mama’s of all drama Mrs Sharon Osbourne will be returning to The X-Factor this year as guest judge when the show goes to judges homes.

Sharon was a former judge on the panel two years ago, however her feelings for fellow mentor Dannii Minogue were not all smiles. Osbourne was bitterly outspoken against Dannii on the show. She claimed Dannii only had the job because of her looks and that Simon Cowell was attracted to her.

Osbourne also said Minogue “knows when to pull out the sympathy card” and “her tears were only on live TV”.

Sharon quit The X Factor after Dannii’s first year, blaming the Aussie star for her reasons behind leaving.

In an interview with Piers Morgan she said: “I didn’t enjoy working with her at all and the prospect of spending six months sitting next to her, I thought ‘my life is better than that’.”

And although it’s unlikely they’ll meet, Dannii Minogue may be unhappy with Sharon’s return as the pair didn’t get on while they were both on the programme, but Dannii has nothing to worry about as the birth of new-born son Ethan means the Minogue is due to return for judges houses also, but thank god the two won’t be in the same country!!

Louis Walsh apparently wanted Sharon as his guest for this year’s judges houses round and why not? The little minx know as Sharon will surely be keeping us at the edge of our seats with her Diva character!

FYI- As we are on the subject of X-Factor the first episode kicked off last weekend with a bang, with just over 11 million viewers. Which means we all watched the Duffy audition by Shirlena Johnson. The producers have decided to pull the mother of one from the competition, as contestants are asked to inform them of any health problems, which Shirlena did not bring to their attention.

Mr Cowell was asked his opinion on the issue on which he replied, “I’m devastated. It’s heartbreaking. Shirlena desperately wanted to do this to make a better life for herself and her daughter. I feel she may now struggle to do that.”

He said: “I really feel for her. I’m very upset and disappointed. The advice I’m given is that she can’t do the show. But there’s another argument that we’re depriving her of the chance to make some money. Even if she didn’t win, she could have picked up money for personal appearances. On the other hand, if we don’t take the advice we’re irresponsible.”

A newspaper also caught up with Shirlena and she had this to say on the matter, as the singing hopeful insisted she was “not mentally ill” and that being kicked off the X Factor was “a complete catastrophe”.

She said: “This is the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.”

A spokesman for The X Factor said: “The welfare of contestants is of paramount importance, and for this reason, it has been agreed that Shirlena Johnson should not continue in the competition.”

X-Factor Guest Judges get the axe!!

Standard

So it seems the judges so far that have stepped in for the mum to be Ms Dannii Minouge, do not seem to be holding up so well. And it looks like it has gotten to the point where Mr Simon Cowell has given them the boot too!!

Geri Halliwell and Natalie Imbruglia did not seem to make a good impression on the Cowell at the last few auditions that have been taking place for this year’s X-Factor. Which is why he has decided that at the London auditions this week, Cheryl, Louis and himself will continue with the show without an extra opinion.

An insider said: “Simon just wants to go back to basics. This will mean the start of the show is all about the singing. The standard looks really high this year.”

Other guests like Katy Perry and Pixie Lott will still make a scheduled appearance as it seems they still have the X-Factor though!!

Simon Cowell to prepare a “World’s got Talent”

Standard

Now we all like to be kept up to date with Simon Cowell, because if you don’t know what’s on his agenda, then you have no idea for what is going on in the world which is Entertainment.

According to reports Mr Cowell will be hosting the first ever World’s Got Talent. Now we all are aware of The
Eurovision Song Contest, so we ask what would make the show different?

The show will be held in the prestigious Royal Albert Hall with Simon and Piers Morgan as Judges.

With 80 contestants taken from all over the globe, the winner of the World’s Got Talent show will receive a cheque for £1million pounds!! And to top it off they will be put in front of an estimated 300 million viewers once it’s air play hits our screens, as there is no aspect that the Cowell megastar has left out for any excuse for failure.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: “This has been Simon’s dream. It will be the biggest reality show the world’s seen. There is a huge wealth of talent out there.

“The best acts cross language barriers. Look at last year’s winners Diversity – anyone from any country would be impressed by what they do.”

More to come on this story X
