I am so glad Rihanna stated what I had initially put out there as the reason behind working with Chris Brown. He IS the hottest R’nB artist doing it right now and the newest music champ advertising for Pepsi Ms Nicki Minaj has jumped on the train too. Currently in Japan and with recently just announcing her UK/ Europe Tour for this year that went on pre-sale this morning, it looks like she’s coming at us all guns blazing for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
“Right By My Side” is a mid tempo nice sway your hips to kind of track that Breezy brings to life. Straight. And without him it might have been a flop…
As for “Beez In The Trap” unfortunately again for me if it wasn’t for 2Chainz again this could have been another “oooo I dunno what to rap about so lemme just ummm make up a whole pile of nonsense” as that it was it sounds like…
Thoughts on the upcoming album? Are we looking at winner or a chick who has made it and is painfully taking the mick?
It’s here. Finally.
“Ambition is priceless that’s something’s that’s in your veins and I doubt that will ever change”
Wale’s debut EP “Ambition” is out now
What do you think? Thoughts?
Oh Usherrr man you gon done it again!
With a beautiful heart beating sexy ballad bass produced by Diplo this video just naturally pulls at your heartstrings as Usher brings back his 8701 vibe on “Climax” Simple but very effective the visual and his oh so soft emotional lyrics get you good when combined together. And as Usher is a general in the game of R’n’B it’s feels even better to have him reminded us of how good music is meant to make you feel and react. Like you the one who broke up with him. Damn Usher. You still got it.

After watching Dreamgirls last night I got the J-Hudson fever (as you do singing n your front room like you can sing like the woman herself) and remembered about this new amazing track featuring the legend that is Kevin Hart who makes me laugh just from his presence, daddy Ne-Yo and the boss of the moment which is Rick Ross.
This single is also on the soundtrack on the upcoming film “Think Like A Man” based around comedy legend Steve Harvey’s book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man Taken from the successful and reality checking truth of the world and what it really is right now. The film is hitting the US screens in April + I hope they cross the waters quick fast! Co-starring Michael Ealy, Jerry Farrara, Regina Hall, Gabrielle Union, Chris Brown, Steve Harvey and Romany Malco, Think Like a Man follows a group of women and men who aren’t having any luck finding lasting relationships. And use a self-help book to help them figure out how to change that.

It’s soo good to see these two women doing well individually and back together as a force they are not to be reckoned with boy! The video is finally here and it is not a disappointing visual as with an up to date “Waiting To Exhale” aura Brandy + Monica pick up where they left off from their old skool smash “The Boy Is Mine” to a more grown up version of being in a relationship where the love is not received as freely given.
And rumour has it that the girls are also looking to go on tour too… So here’s to hoping this receives well worldwide and fingers crossed we could get an album and a tour from the soulful duo.
Dedicating this video (which I hope is a first of many) to the late great influential Ms Whitney Houston, let me know if you think this is a hit for the girls!
New female rapper on the block Australian born Iggy Azalea has landed a deal with TI and his Hustle Gang family. With her first debut LP “the New Classic” to be released in June later this year, this blonde girl next door with the hips has been refreshing the airwaves with a clear different approach to the industry. And her arrival is going down very well to within the music industry too as she is the first female to be graced on the cover of XXL.
The Last Song (the video below) is a track with an incredible twist. Rapping over a ballad for me was exceptional executed and the first to grace my ears and fill them with excitement breathes a sigh of relief that I hope she stays straight Hip-hop. This LA based young lady got my seal of approval.
Check out the video below and let me know what you think…..
And if you like what you heard you can also download her mixtape Ignorant Art FREE at http://www.iggyazalea.com
Congrtualations to them both!
I wonder why Madonna didn’t release this track first? Maybe she even forgot that this track was somehow brilliant and if she had a little more faith in it, we would have all been at her feet as she initially wanted. Rather than having the help of Nicki Minaj and M.I.A and their controversial shenanigans bringing her so much attention her way.
Or was that the reason why it was done in the first place?
Hmmmm What do you think?
